Homemade Replacement for Vanilla Pudding Mix

Directions

  1. 1Combine 1 1/2 cups of powdered milk, 2 cups of granulated sugar, and 2 cups of corn starch together well, ensuring it's all incorporated.
  2. 2Optionally, add 1 tablespoon of vanilla powder if you have it. If not, vanilla extract can be added later when preparing the pudding.
  3. 3To make vanilla pudding, combine 1/2 cup of the mix with 2 cups of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. 4On the stove top, bring the pudding mixture to a boil and simmer for approximately 10 minutes, or until your desired thickness is achieved.
  5. 5Store the unused mix in an airtight container at room temperature until ready to use.
