Spaghetti alla Bolognese

Directions

  1. 1Chop the red onion into chunks.
  2. 2Crack two cloves of garlic with a knife, remove the roots and chop it up into little chunks.
  3. 3Remove the skin of the root celery, cut it lengthwise and chop it up into cubes.
  4. 4Remove the skin of the carrot, cut it into pieces, and chop it up into the same size of cubes like the celery.
  5. 5Add concentrated tomato puree into a little bowl and add a splash of water; mix everything until it's creamy.
  6. 6Prepare broth.
  7. 7Add a little bit of oil in a pan, add the vegetables and fry them until they get a little bit soft and some color.
  8. 8Add ground meat into the pan and loosen it with a wooden spoon; do this until the meat gets a brown color.
  9. 9Add the tomato puree and mix everything.
  10. 10Add the stock.
  11. 11Close the lid, set it to medium heat and let this come to boil.
  12. 12Add salt and pepper.
  13. 13Let it cook for 20 to 30 minutes until it gets a smooth and nice consistency.
  14. 14Cook spaghetti.
  15. 15Add the pan content to a plate.
