Directions

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Cut five tablespoons of salted butter into sections.

Place the butter sections in a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Put the baking dish with butter into the oven while it preheats to melt the butter.

Crack six eggs into a mixing bowl.

Add one cup of flour to the mixing bowl.

Add one cup of milk to the mixing bowl.

Add about a teaspoon and a half of vanilla to the mixing bowl.

Add a dash of salt to the mixing bowl.

Mix all ingredients in the bowl until combined.

Once the oven is preheated and butter is melted, pour the mixed ingredients into the baking pan with the melted butter.

Place the baking dish back into the oven at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20 minutes.

Once baked, remove the German pancake from the oven.

Serve a piece of German pancake on a plate.

Drizzle maple syrup on top of the German pancake.
