Homemade Grape Jelly
Directions
- 1In a small bowl, mix together 1 box of pectin and 1/4 cup of sugar. Set aside.
- 2In a separate bowl, measure out 3 1/4 cups of sugar. Set aside.
- 3In a large pot, add 5 1/2 cups of grape juice.
- 4Mix in the pectin mixture into the grape juice.
- 5Turn the heat to high and bring to a rolling boil.
- 6Once boiling, mix in the remaining 3 1/4 cups of sugar.
- 7Bring back to a rolling boil and let it boil for one minute.
- 8Remove from heat and skim off any foam.
- 9Carefully ladle the hot jelly into clean jars.
- 10Wipe the rims of the jars clean, then add the lids.
- 11Flip the jars upside down and allow to cool completely.
- 12Once cooled, flip the jars back over.
