Add 3 pounds of 93/7 ground sirloin to a pot.

Pour in enough beef broth to cover the top of the meat.

Add 2 tablespoons of chili powder.

Add 1 tablespoon of black pepper.

Add 1 and a half tablespoons of garlic powder.

Add 1 tablespoon of onion powder.

Add 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika.

Add a teaspoon of salt.

Break up the meat thoroughly.

Add one diced onion.

Add two large diced jalapeños (or bell peppers if preferred).

Add one 10.5-ounce can of puréed Rotel.

Mix everything in well and bring it back up to a simmer for 30 more minutes.

After 30 minutes, ensure the meat is broken up really well.

Add 2 teaspoons of cornstarch dissolved in a quarter cup of water.

Stir that in good and let simmer for 5 more minutes.

Tips
