Place the skillet in the oven at 350 degrees to melt the butter.

In another bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, a pinch of salt, and milk.

Pour the batter directly over the melted butter in the hot skillet, do not mix.

Spoon the banana mixture on top of the batter, do not mix.

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.

Let the cobbler cool off a little after taking it out of the oven.
