Directions

  1. 1Place the skillet in the oven at 350 degrees to melt the butter.
  2. 2Cut up the ripe bananas.
  3. 3Put the bananas into a bowl.
  4. 4Add brown sugar, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon to the bananas.
  5. 5Mix the banana mixture well.
  6. 6In another bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, a pinch of salt, and milk.
  7. 7Mix the dry ingredients and milk together.
  8. 8Pour the batter directly over the melted butter in the hot skillet, do not mix.
  9. 9Spoon the banana mixture on top of the batter, do not mix.
  10. 10Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  11. 11Let the cobbler cool off a little after taking it out of the oven.
