High Volume, Low Calorie, High Protein Bowl

Directions

  1. 1Get some greens for the base.
  2. 2Dump some cottage cheese (or low-fat Greek yogurt) on the greens.
  3. 3Cook 200g extra lean ground beef in 1 tsp tallow in a pan.
  4. 4Bake 400g squash with salt in the oven.
  5. 5Top the plate with the baked squash.
  6. 6Add the extra lean ground beef to the plate.
  7. 7Dump fresh salsa (1/4 cup) on top.
  8. 8Add your choice of hot sauce.
  9. 9Mix all ingredients together to create the 'mush effect'.

  • 400 g squash (acorn, kabocha, butternut, or spaghetti squash)
  • 200 g extra lean ground beef (~97% lean)
  • 1 tsp tallow
  • 0.25 cup fresh salsa
  • hot sauce
  • salt
  • avocado
