Grab your steak and pat it dry with paper towels.
Salt the steak generously and rub it in.
Add a little bit of oil to a pre-seasoned cast iron pan.
Sear the fat cap for 30 seconds until golden.
Sear both sides of the steak for 2 minutes.
Add water to the pan.
Season the broccoli with garlic powder, lemon pepper, and onion powder. Add a little bit of avocado oil.
Flip the steak over and continue cooking.
Add a piece of butter to the steak and baste it with the melted butter for 3-4 minutes per side. 3 minutes for medium rare, 4 for medium well, 5 for well done.
Turn down the heat and let the steak cook in the remaining butter.
Cut the steak in the middle.
Let the steak sit for 5-10 minutes.
Save the fat from the steak to use as a dipping sauce.
Cook the eggs in the pan.
Steam the broccoli in the same pan.
Assemble the dish: steak, fried eggs, and broccoli on a wooden board. Season with additional salt.
