Directions

  1. 1Combine the lemon cake mix, 1/3 cup of melted butter, a healthy teaspoon of vanilla extract, 4 eggs, and 1 cup of milk in a large mixing bowl.
  2. 2Mix the ingredients well.
  3. 3Add frozen blueberries to the mixture, measured with your heart, and fold them in.
  4. 4Pour the cake batter into a greased 9x13 baking dish with high sides.
  5. 5Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes.
  6. 6After taking the cake out of the oven and letting it cool for about 10 minutes, spoon a full can of blueberry pie filling on top of the cake.
  7. 7Prepare the whipped topping by pouring some heavy cream into a measuring cup.
  8. 8Add Dream Whip powder to the heavy cream.
  9. 9Add a little milk, about half a cup, to the cream mixture to make it go further.
  10. 10Skip the vanilla extract and add lemon extract to the cream mixture.
  11. 11Whip the cream mixture until it reaches the desired consistency.
  12. 12Spread the lemon-flavored whipped topping over the blueberry pie filling on the cake.

Tips

  • If you don't have blueberries added to your cake mixture, poke some holes in the cake after baking and add blueberry pie filling.
