Lemon Blueberry Delight
Directions
- 1Combine the lemon cake mix, 1/3 cup of melted butter, a healthy teaspoon of vanilla extract, 4 eggs, and 1 cup of milk in a large mixing bowl.
- 2Mix the ingredients well.
- 3Add frozen blueberries to the mixture, measured with your heart, and fold them in.
- 4Pour the cake batter into a greased 9x13 baking dish with high sides.
- 5Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes.
- 6After taking the cake out of the oven and letting it cool for about 10 minutes, spoon a full can of blueberry pie filling on top of the cake.
- 7Prepare the whipped topping by pouring some heavy cream into a measuring cup.
- 8Add Dream Whip powder to the heavy cream.
- 9Add a little milk, about half a cup, to the cream mixture to make it go further.
- 10Skip the vanilla extract and add lemon extract to the cream mixture.
- 11Whip the cream mixture until it reaches the desired consistency.
- 12Spread the lemon-flavored whipped topping over the blueberry pie filling on the cake.
