Directions

  1. 1Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to a large skillet on medium-high heat.
  2. 2Add 1 pound of thinly sliced sirloin (or ground beef) to the skillet and cook until nice and brown.
  3. 3While the meat is cooking, prepare 8 ounces of penne noodles following the directions on the back of the box.
  4. 4Dice one small yellow onion into small bite-sized pieces.
  5. 5Dice up a small red pepper and a green pepper (or use pre-chopped frozen peppers).
  6. 6Add the diced onions and peppers to the skillet with the cooked meat.
  7. 7Cook the onions and peppers for about 5 minutes until they start turning tender.
  8. 8Add 1 tablespoon of minced garlic and cook it for 30 seconds.
  9. 9Add one 15-ounce jar of your favorite Alfredo sauce.
  10. 10To the empty Alfredo sauce jar, add 1 cup of beef broth (or water) and shake it up.
  11. 11Pour the broth-sauce mixture into the skillet.
  12. 12Add 1 cup of sour cream.
  13. 13Add 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, 0.5 teaspoon of paprika, and 0.5 teaspoon of pepper.
