Start by cutting up your fruit. In this case, a nectarine was used, but peaches or apples can also be used.

Heat some butter in a pan.

Add the cut fruit, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the pan.

Stir everything together to combine the ingredients.

Turn down the heat and let the sauce reduce.

Pour 1.5 cups of almond milk into a pot and bring to a boil.

Add 1 cup of oatmeal to the boiling almond milk.

Add cinnamon to taste.

Add 2 tablespoons of ground chia, hemp, and flax seed mix.

Stir the oats mixture.

Pour the cooked oatmeal into a bowl.

Top the oatmeal with the fruit reduction, making sure to scrape all the sauce from the pan.

Garnish with granola for added texture.

Tips
You can use peaches or apples instead of nectarine.
The sauce from the fruit is the best part, so don't be afraid to scrape the pan.
Add vanilla extract to the oats for more flavor.
