Directions

  1. 1Start by cutting up your fruit. In this case, a nectarine was used, but peaches or apples can also be used.
  2. 2Heat some butter in a pan.
  3. 3Add the cut fruit, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract to the pan.
  4. 4Stir everything together to combine the ingredients.
  5. 5Turn down the heat and let the sauce reduce.
  6. 6Pour 1.5 cups of almond milk into a pot and bring to a boil.
  7. 7Add 1 cup of oatmeal to the boiling almond milk.
  8. 8Add cinnamon to taste.
  9. 9Add 2 tablespoons of ground chia, hemp, and flax seed mix.
  10. 10Stir the oats mixture.
  11. 11Pour the cooked oatmeal into a bowl.
  12. 12Top the oatmeal with the fruit reduction, making sure to scrape all the sauce from the pan.
  13. 13Garnish with granola for added texture.

Tips
