Butter Swim Biscuit Cinnamon Rolls

Directions

  1. 1Add two and a half cups of flour to a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Add a quarter cup of brown sugar to the bowl.
  3. 3Add a tablespoon of baking powder to the bowl.
  4. 4Add one and a half tablespoons of ground cinnamon to the bowl.
  5. 5Whisk all the dry ingredients together.
  6. 6Add two cups of heavy cream to the mixture.
  7. 7Add a teaspoon of vanilla to the mixture.
  8. 8Mix all ingredients together until you have a big ball of sticky biscuit dough.
  9. 9Set the ball of dough aside.
  10. 10Grab an 8x8 baking dish.
  11. 11Melt a stick of butter.
  12. 12Pour the melted butter into the baking dish.
  13. 13Place the ball of dough on top of the butter in the baking dish.
  14. 14Spread the dough out in the baking dish.
  15. 15Pre-cut the biscuits in the dough to make them easier to separate after baking.
  16. 16Bake in the oven at 450 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes.
  17. 17Let the cinnamon rolls cool off after baking.
  18. 18To make the icing, get one and a half cups of powdered sugar.
  19. 19Add three tablespoons of melted butter to the powdered sugar.
  20. 20Add a teaspoon of vanilla to the icing mixture.
  21. 21Add about two tablespoons of heavy cream to the icing mixture.
  22. 22Whisk all the icing ingredients together.
  23. 23Drizzle or spread the icing on the cooled cinnamon roll biscuits.
  24. 24Scoop one out and put it on a plate.
