Directions
- 1Combine the golden cake mix, melted butter, four eggs, and a healthy teaspoon of vanilla extract in a bowl.
- 2Mix well with a wooden spoon or electric mixer.
- 3Fold in one 398 ml can of undrained crushed pineapple using a silicone spatula.
- 4Pour the mixture into a pan and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
- 5Check if a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean to ensure it's fully baked.
- 6Let the cake cool completely.
- 7In a separate bowl, fold a 102 gram package of vanilla pudding into a 1-liter tub of thawed frozen whipped topping.
- 8Fold in another can of undrained crushed pineapple into the whipped topping and pudding mixture.
- 9Refrigerate the icing mixture to keep it cool while the cake is cooling.
- 10Once the cake is at room temperature, you can pop it into the fridge to speed up the chilling process before icing.
- 11Ice the fully chilled cake with the prepared whipped topping mixture.
- 12Serve the cake chilled for the best taste.
