Place 3 or 4 thin slice chicken breasts in a bowl.
Pour 1/2 cup of dill pickle juice and 1/2 cup of water over the chicken.
Shake the bowl slightly, cover it, and let it marinate in the fridge for about 30 to 45 minutes.
While the chicken is marinating, grab a gallon-size Ziploc bag.
Add 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of paprika, salt, and black pepper to the bag.
Seal the bag tightly and shake to mix all the dry ingredients.
In another small bowl, crack two eggs.
Add about 1/2 cup of milk to the eggs and whisk well.
Heat canola oil in a skillet, enough to line the bottom and create a thick layer.
Once the chicken is done marinating, drain off all the pickle juice.
Pour the egg mixture over the chicken breasts and stir to coat both sides.
Remove the chicken breasts from the egg mixture and place them into the bag of dry seasonings.
Close the bag tightly, leaving a little air, and shake it around to coat the chicken breasts with the flour mixture.
Once the oil is hot, lay the chicken breasts into the hot oil.
While the chicken is cooking, line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
Spread melted or softened butter on buns and pop them into a 400 degree oven until toasted.
Cook your chicken about 3 to 7 minutes per side, depending on thickness, flipping occasionally until it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Once the chicken reaches 165 degrees, remove it and place it on paper towels to absorb excess grease.
Grab some pre-made Chick-fil-A sauce or make your own.
Assemble the sandwich by putting sauce on the bun, adding favorite toppings (four pickles for Chick-fil-A style), the chicken breast, and optional cheese.
