  1. 1Welcome to Cooking with Kim Bagley! Today, I'll be showing you how to make a Cape Town style Masala Steak Sandwich.
  2. 2Remove the tenderized steak from its packaging.
  3. 3Place the steak on a cutting board.
  4. 4Tenderize the steak with a mallet until it's nice and soft.
  5. 5Cut the steak into small blocks, or strips if preferred.
  6. 6Place the cut steak in a bowl.
  7. 7Add 2 teaspoons of masala to the steak.
  8. 8Add salt to taste.
  9. 9Add half a teaspoon of garam masala.
  10. 10Add half a teaspoon of turmeric powder.
  11. 11Add 1 teaspoon of tomato paste.
  12. 12Add 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
  13. 13Drizzle with cooking oil.
  14. 14Add 1 teaspoon of garlic and ginger paste.
  15. 15Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.
  16. 16Marinate the steak for about 20 minutes.
  17. 17Peel and cut the potatoes.
  18. 18Fry the potatoes in hot oil until golden.

Tips
