High Protein Crispy Spicy Beef Noodles

Directions

  1. 1In a bowl, add light and dark soy sauce, honey, sweet chili sauce, rice vinegar, chili garlic paste, red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and water.
  2. 2Mix all the sauce ingredients until well combined.
  3. 3Heat a pan on high heat and add the beef mince.
  4. 4Cook the beef mince for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. 5Add half of the prepared sauce and some chopped green onions to the cooked beef.
  6. 6Mix and cook the beef with the sauce and green onions until golden and crispy.
  7. 7Set the crispy beef aside.
  8. 8In the same pan, add chopped garlic, ginger, and green onion.
  9. 9Cook until fragrant.
  10. 10Add sliced red onion and bell pepper to the pan.
  11. 11Cook the vegetables for 5 minutes until soft.
  12. 12Add cooked egg noodles to the pan with the vegetables.
  13. 13Pour the remaining half of the sauce over the noodles and vegetables.
  14. 14Mix until the noodles are well combined with the sauce and vegetables.
  15. 15Add the crispy beef and some additional green onions to the noodles.
  16. 16Mix everything together until thoroughly combined.
  17. 17Serve the noodles evenly into four servings.

  • 220 g Medium Egg Noodles

Tips

  • Cook the beef on medium-high heat for 6-8 minutes, ensuring most liquid evaporates before adding sauce.
  • Once sauce is added to beef, cook for another 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Cook egg noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes (or place them in a bowl with boiling water) then remove to stop cooking.
  • Cook veggies for 5 minutes until soft before adding noodles and remaining sauce.
  • Mix noodles and sauce on low heat until fully coated.
  • This meal tastes better the longer it stays in the fridge.
  • Reheat in a microwave or a pan with a little water for moisture.
