Directions
- 1Trace your design onto parchment paper using an edible marker.
- 2Separate six egg yolks and six egg whites.
- 3Whisk egg yolks with sugar, milk, and oil until combined. Then sift in flour and whisk until smooth.
- 4Whip egg whites into stiff peaks.
- 5Fold whipped egg whites into the egg yolk mixture.
- 6Prepare different colored batter using Americolor food gel.
- 7Pipe the design onto the parchment paper in a cake pan.
- 8Do not overmix the batter.
- 9Layer a plain sponge cake with whipped cream, and top it with the decorated cake layer.
