Homemade banana Pudding

Directions
- 1Add 2 cups of milk to a pot.
- 2Add 1 cup of sugar to the pot.
- 3Add 1/3 cup of flour to the pot.
- 4Mix the ingredients together.
- 5Place the pot on the stove over low heat and stir until it becomes thick and bubbly.
- 6Separate the yolks from the whites of 3 large eggs.
- 7Add the egg yolks to the milk mixture on the stove, whisking slowly to temper them.
- 8Add about a tablespoon and a half of vanilla bean extract or paste.
- 9Arrange vanilla wafer cookies in the bottom of a baking dish.
- 10Slice bananas and layer them over the cookies.
- 11Pour the hot custard mixture over the cookies and bananas.
- 12Top with more vanilla wafer cookies, some crushed.
- 13Serve hot or place in the fridge to chill.

Tips
- When adding egg yolks to the milk mixture, add a little milk mixture to the egg yolks first to bring them to temperature so they don't curdle, then whisk slowly into the pot.
