Directions
- 1Add 2 1/2 cups of water to a hot pot.
- 2Add 2 pounds of ground beef to your pot with 2 1/2 cups of water.
- 3Break the meat up in the water.
- 4Add half of an onion to the pot.
- 5Add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, and 1 tablespoon of paprika.
- 6Add 2 tablespoons of sugar.
- 7Add 4 tablespoons of chili powder.
- 8Add 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce.
- 9Add 2 tablespoons of Texas Pete hot sauce.
- 10Add 2 tablespoons of spicy ketchup.
- 11Mix everything up and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, put the top on and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 12Boil for a little bit, then take the lid off, add tomato paste and cook for another 10 minutes or so.
- 13Add your 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and mix it up real nice. Let it cook for a couple more minutes until it thickens up a little bit.
- 14Skim the grease off the top to make it the consistency you want.
