Directions

  1. 1Marinade chicken with lemon juice.
  2. 2Add yogurt to the chicken for marination.
  3. 3Add red chili powder to the chicken.
  4. 4Add turmeric powder to the chicken.
  5. 5Add chicken masala powder to the chicken.
  6. 6Add coriander powder to the chicken.
  7. 7Add salt to the chicken.
  8. 8Mix all the marinating ingredients very well with the chicken.
  9. 9Add roasted onion to a blender for the special masala.
  10. 10Add ginger garlic to the blender.
  11. 11Add cumin seeds to the blender.
  12. 12Add soaked Kashmiri red chilies to the blender.
  13. 13Blend the ingredients into a special masala paste, adding water as needed.
  14. 14Add ghee to a kadai (pan).
  15. 15Add the marinated chicken to the hot ghee.
  16. 16Mix the chicken well on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
  17. 17Cover and cook the chicken for 15 minutes on medium heat.
  18. 18Add the special blended masala to the cooked chicken.
  19. 19Mix the special masala well with the chicken for 4 to 5 minutes on high heat.
  20. 20Add curry leaves to the chicken.
  21. 21Mix the curry leaves into the chicken curry.
  22. 22Finish by adding chopped coriander leaves.
  23. 23Stir everything well and serve hot with naan or chapati.
