Cracker Barrel Meatloaf

Directions

  1. 1Add one cup of crushed Ritz crackers to a mixing bowl.
  2. 2Add two beaten eggs.
  3. 3Add half a cup of diced onions.
  4. 4Add half a cup of diced bell peppers.
  5. 5Sauté the diced onions and bell peppers in a hot oiled pan.
  6. 6Add a cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  7. 7Add half a cup of whole milk.
  8. 8Add a teaspoon of salt.
  9. 9Add a quarter teaspoon of black pepper.
  10. 10Add the sautéed vegetables to the mixing bowl.
  11. 11Mix all the ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
  12. 12Add two pounds of ground beef to the mixture.
  13. 13Mix all ingredients together until beautifully combined.
  14. 14Shove the meat mixture into a loaf pan.
  15. 15Throw the whole thing in the oven at 350 for 30 minutes.
  16. 16Start making the glaze with three-quarters of a cup of ketchup.
  17. 17Add two tablespoons of brown sugar.
  18. 18Add about a teaspoon of yellow mustard.
  19. 19Whisk the glaze ingredients until combined.
  20. 20Get the meatloaf out of the oven.
  21. 21Dab the meatloaf with a paper towel.
  22. 22Paint the glaze onto the top of the meatloaf.
  23. 23Put the meatloaf back in the oven for another 30 minutes or until it reaches the correct temperature.
  24. 24When it comes out, put it on whatever rectangular serving tray you have.
  25. 25Drizzle it with some ketchup.
  26. 26Throw some parsley on top to make it look fancy.
  27. 27Get a plate and put a slice of meatloaf on it.
  28. 28Scoop up a big old bite of this.
  29. 29Put the whole thing in your mouth.
