Directions

  1. 1Boil 2 pounds of long macaroni noodles until al dente.
  2. 2In a separate pan, add 2 cups of whole milk.
  3. 3Add 1 cup of sour cream to the milk.
  4. 4Add 6 tablespoons of butter to the pan.
  5. 5Add 2 large eggs to the mixture.
  6. 6Add 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning.
  7. 7Add some black pepper.
  8. 8Add about 1 tablespoon of onion powder.
  9. 9Add some garlic powder.
  10. 10Melt the mixture on a very low heat.
  11. 11Add 1 cup of Colby Jack cheese.
  12. 12Add 1 cup of sharp cheddar cheese.
  13. 13Add 8 ounces of Velveeta cheese.
  14. 14Add 1 cup of mild cheddar cheese.
  15. 15Melt all the cheese down to form a cheese sauce.
  16. 16Salt to taste.
  17. 17Butter an aluminum pan, making sure to coat the sides as well.
  18. 18Add the al dente noodles to the cheese sauce and mix well to ensure they are fully coated.
  19. 19Pour the noodles with the cheese sauce into the buttered aluminum pan.
  20. 20Sprinkle sharp cheddar cheese on top of the macaroni.
  21. 21Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  22. 22Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  23. 23Remove the aluminum foil and continue baking for another 15 minutes.
