Red Fajitas Marinade

Directions

  1. 1Combine orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil in a blender.
  2. 2Add salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, granulated onion, dried Mexican oregano, ground cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, and achiote paste to the blender.
  3. 3Blend all ingredients for about 20-30 seconds until smooth.
  4. 4Pour a portion of the marinade into the bottom of a glass baking dish.
  5. 5Place one strip of skirt steak into the dish and rub the marinade into the meat.
  6. 6Add more marinade and place the second strip of skirt steak into the dish, rubbing the marinade into both pieces.
  7. 7Cover the marinated steaks with plastic wrap.
  8. 8Refrigerate the marinated steaks.

  • 0.25 cup fresh orange juice
  • 0.25 cup fresh pineapple juice
  • 0.5 cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon granulated onion
  • 1 teaspoon dried Mexican oregano
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 3 tablespoons achiote paste
  • 4 pounds skirt steak

Tips

  • If making a big batch, double the marinade ingredients and add a little more liquid if desired.
  • The marinade is a flavor bomb and can be used on steaks, pork chops, and even hamburgers.
