Pork Steaks with Orange Sauce

Directions

  1. 1Add a tablespoon of olive oil, a teaspoon of garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, a teaspoon of salt, and black pepper to four pieces of pork steak.
  2. 2Stir to mix the spices into the meat, ensuring the meat is well-wrapped in the spices.
  3. 3In a frying pan, add a drizzle of olive oil.
  4. 4Add the pork steaks to the pan.
  5. 5Fry the pork steaks for five minutes, then turn them over and fry on the other side until golden brown.
  6. 6Remove the pork steaks and set them aside.
  7. 7Add a tablespoon of butter to the same pan and let it melt.
  8. 8Cut half a white onion into small cubes.
  9. 9Once the onion has been diced, add it to the pan and let it fry for 2 minutes.
  10. 10Add two cloves of chopped garlic and let it fry with the onion.
  11. 11In a bowl, add orange juice, a tablespoon of mustard, a tablespoon of honey, a tablespoon of soy sauce, and a tablespoon of cornstarch.
  12. 12Mix the sauce ingredients very well.
  13. 13Add this sauce to the frying pan with the onion and garlic.
  14. 14Stir and cook the sauce for 2 minutes until it's a full-bodied sauce.
  15. 15Put the pork steaks back into the pan.
  16. 16Add a little rosemary on top for more flavor.
  17. 17Let it cook for another three minutes.
  18. 18Add a little parsley on top to make it even better.
  19. 19Serve the pork.
