Place New Mexico chile pods and chile ancho in a small pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil.

Transfer boiled chiles to a blender, add garlic cloves, tomato sauce, salt, and water, and blend until smooth.

In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, beef bouillon, oregano, garlic salt, ground cumin, black pepper, and salt.

Slice steak into thin strips, coat thoroughly with the seasoning mixture.

Heat vegetable oil in a pot over medium-high heat, add green bell pepper and onion, and sauté.

Add seasoned meat to the pot and brown.

Add roma tomatoes and diced green chiles, mix, and cook for a few minutes.

Pour in the blended sauce, mix, and bring to a simmer.

Reduce heat to medium-low, add bay leaf, cover, and cook.

1/2 onion
2 roma tomato
7 oz diced green chiles
1 bay leaf
