Serves 8

Directions

  1. 1Heat oven to 350°F and spray a 9x5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
  2. 2In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon of the pumpkin pie spice.
  3. 3Separate dough into 8 biscuits, then separate each biscuit into 2 layers to make 16 biscuit rounds total.
  4. 4Brush one side of each biscuit round with melted butter, spread slightly less than 1 tablespoon of pumpkin pie mix on top, and sprinkle with the sugar-spice mixture.
  5. 5Stack biscuits in 4 piles of 4 biscuits each.
  6. 6Place stacks on their sides in a row in the loaf pan, ensuring sides without filling are on both ends touching the pan.
  7. 7Bake for 40 to 45 minutes or until the loaf is deep golden brown and the center is baked through.
  8. 8Cool for 10 minutes, then turn the pan upside down on a serving platter.
  9. 9In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, vanilla, and the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice until thin enough to drizzle.
  10. 10Drizzle the icing over the warm loaf and serve.
