Directions
1
Place 1 stick of butter in the pan you're going to make your biscuits in.
2
Place the pan with butter into your oven while it's preheating to 400 degrees.
3
In another bowl, add 2 and 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1 and 1/2 teaspoons of salt, and 4 teaspoons of baking powder.
4
Give that a good mix to make sure everything is nicely incorporated.
5
Add in 2 cups or one 16-ounce bottle of buttermilk.
6
Mix it up with a wooden spoon.
7
Scrape your sides down with a spatula.
8
Remove your pan with your melted butter.
9
Pour your biscuit mixture on top of the butter.
10
Smooth your dough out and get it into all four corners, making sure it's even on the top.
11
Cut into 9 even squares.
12
Place into your 400-degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until nice and golden on top.
13
Add your favorite toppings: jam, butter, or honey.

Tips
Let them cool a little bit more, because these babies were hot.
You don't have to use buttermilk, but I do recommend it. You can use regular milk; the batter will be on the thinner side, and I feel like it won't give you that biscuit taste.
