Copycat Raising Cane's Chicken Tenders and Sauce

Directions

  1. 1Place the chicken tenders in a bowl to marinate.
  2. 2Add 2 cups of buttermilk, 2 tablespoons of garlic powder, 1 tablespoon of black pepper, and 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika to the chicken tenders.
  3. 3Add some salt to the marinade.
  4. 4Mix the chicken and marinade well.
  5. 5Marinate the chicken in the fridge for 2 hours.
  6. 6For the dry mix, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, and 1 teaspoon each of black pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a bowl.
  7. 7Take the marinated chicken and dip it into the dry batter.
  8. 8Place the battered chicken into hot oil for frying until golden brown.
  9. 9For the sauce, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, lemon pepper, salt, and a little extra pepper in a separate bowl.
  10. 10Mix all the sauce ingredients together until well combined.
  11. 11Serve the fried chicken tenders with the prepared sauce and french fries.
