Directions
- 1Get Golden Oreos and crush them in a food processor.
- 2Add the crushed Oreos to a bowl.
- 3Stir in some strawberry jelly into the first half of the cookies.
- 4Add a stick of melted butter and mix it to create a strawberry granola or crumble situation.
- 5Flavor it up with a splash of almond extract, a quarter teaspoon, and a little pinch of salt.
- 6Toast it up in the oven for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, like a cookie crust in a pie.
- 7Let it cool completely, then crumble it up again and mix in the other vanilla Oreos.
- 8Pop it back in the food processor to mix everything.
- 9Combine the mixture with the other half of the cookie crumbs.
- 10Unwrap all the vanilla ice cream sandwiches.
- 11Put down the first layer of ice cream sandwiches.
- 12Cut one ice cream sandwich in half to fill in the space.
- 13Add the first layer of whipped topping and spread it evenly.
- 14Add some strawberry ice cream topping, strawberry jam, or strawberry syrup.
- 15Lay in some fresh strawberries on top of the topping.
- 16Add some of the crunchy mixture on top.
- 17Add another layer of ice cream sandwiches.
- 18Add another layer of whipped topping and spread it evenly.
- 19Add the remaining strawberry crunch topping.
- 20Freeze the cake overnight or at least 6 hours.
