Directions
- 1Add diced onions to the griddle.
- 2Season the onions.
- 3Add ground meat to the griddle with the onions.
- 4Break up and cook the meat.
- 5Add ketchup to the meat.
- 6Add mustard to the meat.
- 7Add brown sugar to the meat.
- 8Mix all ingredients together and cook until combined.
- 9Place slices of Texas toast on the griddle.
- 10Place cheese slices on top of some of the Texas toast slices.
- 11Scoop the sloppy joe mixture onto the cheese-topped Texas toast slices.
- 12Place the remaining Texas toast slices on top to form sandwiches.
