Spiced Kufta and Potatoes with Tangy Tahini Yogurt

Directions

  1. 1Add potatoes and spices to one hot oiled tray.
  2. 2Make the kufta by mixing mince (beef, lamb, chicken, or meat-free), onion, parsley, breadcrumbs, paprika, pul biber, dried mint, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  3. 3Wet your hands and roll the kufta mixture into balls.
  4. 4Blast the potatoes in the oven.
  5. 5Turn the potatoes over, add the kufta to the tray, brush with olive oil, and pop them back in the oven.
  6. 6For the yogurt tahini, whisk tahini, cold water, lemon juice, salt, and garlic until it looks curdled.
  7. 7Add yogurt to the tahini mixture and mix until creamy.
  8. 8Dish up the spiced kufta and potatoes into a large platter.
  9. 9Top with the spiced kufta and potatoes, a fresh salad, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, pul biber, and dried mint.
