Pour one cup of water into a pot.

Add one cup of shredded ginger to the pot.

Add one cup of sugar to the pot.

Boil the mixture for 10 minutes on low heat.

Gently mix the ingredients in the pot.

Add some mint to the pot.

Add some lemon zest to the pot.

Strain the syrup into a bowl.

Once the syrup is cold, add three spoons of lemon juice to it.

Add some ice to a mug.

Add a mint leaf to the mug.

Pour three spoons of the syrup into the mug.

Pour carbonated water into the mug.

Stir gently to mix.

Garnish with a mint leaf.

Tips
