Delicious cheese garlic flatbreads

Directions

  1. 1Sift the flour into a bowl.
  2. 2Add the salt, sugar, and dried garlic (if using).
  3. 3Pour in the hot water (80 °C) and olive oil.
  4. 4First mix with a spatula or spoon, then knead by hand for about 10 minutes.
  5. 5Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for 1-2 hours.
  6. 6Divide the dough into 5 equal parts (about 110 g each) and roll into balls.
  7. 7Lightly flour the work surface and roll each ball into a circle about 15 cm in diameter and 1 cm thick.
  8. 8Place cheese (about 66 g) in the center.
  9. 9Pinch the edges together from bottom to top to enclose the cheese, forming a ball.
  10. 10Gently roll out this filled ball into a flatbread about 20 cm in diameter (lightly flouring to prevent sticking).
  11. 11Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with oil.
  12. 12Fry each flatbread for 2 minutes on one side, then 2 minutes on the other (total 4 minutes per flatbread).
  13. 13Repeat with the remaining ones.
  14. 14As soon as a flatbread is ready, place it on a plate and brush it with the melted butter mixed with garlic and cilantro.

  • 400 g Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp Fresh cilantro (finely chopped)
  • 1 tsp Garlic (finely chopped)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
