Tortellini with Lemon Cream Sauce

Directions

  1. 1Get some tortellini into some boiling water.
  2. 2To a pan I’m going to add some butter.
  3. 3Add olive oil, some garlic, some spices.
  4. 4Add some heavy cream.
  5. 5Add the juice of a lemon and some of the zest, make sure you're mixing it as you do so that the sauce doesn't curdle.
  6. 6Add your zest.
  7. 7Add a nice amount of parmesan cheese.
  8. 8Get your spinach and cooked tortellini in that pan, start mixing it up.
  9. 9Add some of that pasta water.
  10. 10Top this with more fresh parm, more lemon zest and then lots of fresh cracked pepper.

  • 0.33 cup butter
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 0.75 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 lemon
  • 0.5 lemon zest
  • 0.25 tsp pepper
  • 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
  • basil
