  1. 1Spread yellow mustard all over the hot dogs.

  4. 4Bring the hot dogs inside and cut them into bite-sized hunks.
  5. 5Sprinkle the cut hot dogs with about one spoonful of brown sugar.
  6. 6Top the hot dogs with your favorite barbecue sauce.
  7. 7Give the hot dogs a good stir to combine the sauce and brown sugar.
  8. 8Return the hot dogs to the grill in an aluminum tray and cook for about an hour or longer, depending on how tacky or caramelly you like the sauce to be.
  9. 9Serve the hot dog burnt ends with a toothpick and a side of Grillo's pickle.
