dinneratthezoo.com
10m
Serves 4

Directions

  1. 1Place the butter in a large pan and melt over medium high heat.
  2. 2Add the shrimp and season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
  3. 3Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until shrimp are pink and opaque.
  4. 4Add the garlic and cook for one more minute.
  5. 5Stir in the lemon juice and parsley, then serve.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 lb large shrimp (I use 16-20 count size, peeled, deveined and tails removed if desired)
  • 1 salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic (use more if you love garlic!)
  • 1 juice of one lemon
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Equipment

large pan

Tips

  • Use fresh minced garlic.
  • Don't overcook the shrimp. Cook until pink and opaque.
  • If you love garlic, use more garlic.
  • Shrimp tails can be removed or left on depending on preference.
  • Serve over pasta or rice, or as an appetizer
