Slow cooker garlic pulled beef pasta

Directions

  1. 1Add a drizzle of olive oil to a pan and brown off the beef for a few minutes on a high heat (optional step if you are short on time).
  2. 2Add beef, finely diced onion, minced garlic, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, red wine stock pot, beef oxo cube, water, dried herbs, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  3. 3Stir well.
  4. 4Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  5. 5Once cooked, shred the beef.
  6. 6Add cream, parmesan, and fresh basil to the slow cooker.
  7. 7Stir well and cook for another 30 minutes.
  8. 8Whilst cooking, place the pasta on to boil as per the packet instructions.
  9. 9Once the pasta is cooked, add a ladle of pasta water and the pasta into the sauce, then stir well until all of the pasta is fully coated.
  10. 10Serve with garlic bread and an optional garnish of parmesan and fresh basil.

  • 500 g casserole or brisket beef

Tips
