Jalapeño Chicken

Directions

  1. 1Cut 1 1/2 lbs of chicken into smaller pieces. Add 1 tbsp of The Blend seasoning (garlic, salt, and pepper), and 1/2 cup of corn starch. Mix it in.
  2. 2In a pan with some oil on low-medium heat, cook the chicken until browned. This takes about 12 minutes.
  3. 3Meanwhile, prepare the sauce: 1/3 cup of soy sauce, 3 tbsp of honey, 1/3 cup of water, and 5 minced garlic cloves. Whisk it together.
  4. 4After 12 minutes, take the chicken out of the pan and set it aside.
  5. 5In the same pan, fry 1/2 white onion and 2 jalapeños for a couple of minutes.
  6. 6Add the cooked chicken to the pan with the onions and jalapeños.
  7. 7Add the sauce to the pan and mix it all in.
  8. 8Bring to a boil, cover, and cook until the sauce has thickened. This should take about 4 minutes.
  9. 9Serve on a bed of white rice.
