Directions

  1. 1Chop 70 grams of ginger.
  2. 2In a pot, mix 70 grams of chopped ginger and 70 grams of sugar with 1 liter of water.
  3. 3Simmer for 15 minutes.
  4. 4Once completely cool, add the ginger bug to the mixture.
  5. 5Strain the mixture and pour it into a swing-top bottle.
  6. 6Seal the bottle tightly and let it ferment at room temperature for 2-4 days.
  7. 7Serve over ice with a lime wedge.
