Seed Crackers

Serves 1

Directions

  1. 1In a bowl, combine the flax, chia, sesame, and pumpkin seeds along with the sea salt. Add the water and mix well. Let the mixture rest for a few minutes so the chia and flax seeds absorb the liquid and form a thick, gel-like consistency.
  2. 2Spread the seed mixture evenly in a thin layer on a baking sheet (preferably lined with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat).
  3. 3Bake at 325°F for 55 minutes, or until the mixture feels dry to the touch and looks lightly golden.
  4. 4Turn off the oven and leave the baking sheet inside so the crackers cool down completely with the residual heat.
  5. 5Once cool, break the baked sheet into pieces to form the crackers. Serve accompanied by delicious mashed avocado and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1 1/4 cup water
  • a pinch sea salt
  • mashed avocado (optional)
