Install and use the Clip Recipe Chrome extension

Install the Clip Recipe extension in desktop Chrome to extract recipes without copying links between tabs. It opens beside the video or recipe page and saves the result to your existing Clip Recipe account.

Install the extension

1. Open the Chrome Web Store listing and choose Add to Chrome.
2. Open Chrome’s extensions menu, then pin Clip Recipe so its icon stays in the toolbar.
3. Sign in with the account you use on the Clip Recipe website.

Extract a recipe from the current page

1. Open a public cooking video or recipe page.
2. Click the Clip Recipe icon to open the side panel.
3. Check that the panel shows the page you want, then choose Extract recipe.
4. When it finishes, read the ingredients and directions in the panel. Open the recipe on the website to edit, translate or export it.

The extension uses your existing plan. Installation is free; extraction requires an active plan or trial. It is for desktop Chrome. On a phone, copy the source link and paste it into Clip Recipe.

Where the recipes go

They appear in My recipes, alongside recipes saved through the website. If one video teaches several dishes, each gets its own ingredients and steps. Open the result on the website to move between dishes.
