Master Chef: the one-time Clip Recipe plan
Compare the Master Chef lifetime plan with a Resident Chef subscription and check which includes a trial.
Francisco MacedoUpdated

Master Chef is Clip Recipe’s one-time plan. It includes unlimited recipe extractions and the recipe editing, translation, sharing, serving adjustment and export features.
One-time payment or subscription?
- Master Chef: pay once for access for the life of Clip Recipe. There is no free trial on this purchase.
- Resident Chef: choose monthly or annual billing. Eligible accounts can start with a seven-day trial.
Compare current prices and plan details before choosing. The older Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine recipe bundles are no longer offered.
What the trial requires
The Resident Chef trial is available once per account and requires a payment card. Billing starts after the trial unless you cancel beforehand. If you have subscribed before, a new subscription starts billing immediately. Master Chef is paid up front.
What both options let you do
Save recipes from supported public videos and recipe websites, extract several dishes from one video, and use the desktop Chrome extension with the same account. Videos can be up to one hour; longer videos need useful captions, descriptions or comments.
“Unlimited extractions” describes the plan allowance. Sources still need to be accessible and contain enough recipe information to produce a useful result.
