Lightly fry the tortillas for about 5 seconds until they begin to blister.

Set the fried tortillas aside.

Mix the tomato paste, chili powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper into the beef broth.

Heat up a little bit of oil in a pan over medium heat.

Sauté the diced onions for a couple of minutes.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

Add the ground beef, cumin, oregano, black pepper, and salt.

Break down the ground beef and allow it to cook for 7 minutes.

Taste and adjust the seasoning if necessary.

Move the cooked meat to the side of the pan and allow the fat to come to the center.
