Directions

  1. 1Start by preheating the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. 2Dice the potatoes.
  3. 3Add the diced potatoes to a baking dish.
  4. 4Add a couple of tablespoons of oil to the potatoes.
  5. 5Season the potatoes with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  6. 6Mix everything together well.
  7. 7Put the potatoes in the oven to cook.
  8. 8Peel a white onion.
  9. 9Dice the onion.
  10. 10Brown the ground beef in a pan, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  11. 11Once the meat is about 75% cooked, add the diced onions.
  12. 12Remove the potatoes from the oven after 20 minutes.
  13. 13Add half of the shredded cheese to the potatoes and mix it in.
  14. 14Spread the cooked beef and onions on top of the cheesy potatoes.
  15. 15Cover the dish with a piece of foil and bake for another 20 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  16. 16Remove the foil and sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top.
  17. 17Bake for 10 more minutes, or until the cheese is nice and bubbly and melted.
  18. 18Prepare the sauce by mixing 1/2 cup mayo, 1 tablespoon mustard, and 2 tablespoons ketchup.
  19. 19Serve the burger bowls with a drizzle of the mayo sauce on top.

  • 12 ounce shredded Mexican style cheese
  • 0.5 cup mayo
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
