1Brown 1 lb of ground beef with a diced onion and 4–5 minced garlic cloves.
2Drain the excess grease and set it aside.
3In a large bowl, mix a 30 oz bag of frozen hashbrowns with 2 (10.5 oz) cans of cream of mushroom soup, 1 can of cream of chicken soup (or 2 cans of any cream soup you like), 8 oz of sour cream and 8 oz of shredded cheese.
4Season with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
5Mix in the cooked ground beef and stir until well combined.
6Spread the mixture in a 9x13 baking dish and bake at 400°F (204°C) for about 45 minutes.
7Top with another cup of cheese and crispy fried onions.
8Bake for 10–15 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
