Directions

  1. 1Weigh out 24g of dry toilet paper.
  2. 2Soak the toilet paper in water.
  3. 3Squeeze out the excess water from the toilet paper.
  4. 4Strain the wet toilet paper pulp to remove more water.
  5. 5Weigh out 110g of wet toilet paper pulp.
  6. 6Shred the wet toilet paper pulp into small pieces into a mixing bowl.
  7. 7Weigh out 200g of drywall joint compound.
  8. 8Weigh out 130g of Elmer's glue.
  9. 9Weigh out 70g of corn starch.
  10. 10Weigh out 70g of flour.
  11. 11Add the drywall joint compound to the mixing bowl with the toilet paper pulp.
  12. 12Add the Elmer's glue to the mixing bowl.
  13. 13Add the corn starch to the mixing bowl.
  14. 14Add the flour to the mixing bowl.
  15. 15Add 3 tablespoons of mineral oil to the mixing bowl.
  16. 16Mix all the ingredients together using a stand mixer until well combined and smooth.
  17. 17The papier-mâché clay is now ready to be used for sculpting.
