Olive Wood Pine Cone Resin Clock

Directions

  1. 1Pour white resin into a circular mold containing pieces of olive wood.
  2. 2Spread the resin with a brush.
  3. 3Add pine cones.
  4. 4Pour clear resin.
  5. 5Sand the resin surface with an oscillating multitool.
  6. 6Sand the clock face with a random orbit sander.
  7. 7Sand the edges of the clock with a belt sander.
  8. 8Smooth the edge with a router table.
  9. 9Sand the clock face again.
  10. 10Measure and mix the clear resin to pour.
  11. 11Pour the resin again to fill the gaps.
  12. 12Spread the resin evenly.
  13. 13Sand the surface once again.
  14. 14Install a clock mechanism.
  15. 15Cut out numbers to mark the hours with a laser cutter.
  16. 16Add the hour marks to the clock face.
  17. 17Install the clock hands.
