Beeswax Candle

Directions

  1. 1Melt one cup of beeswax and a quarter cup of coconut oil until it becomes a clear liquid.
  2. 2While the wax melts, prep your jar by dipping the bottom of a candle wick in some melted wax and sticking it to the bottom of the jar.
  3. 3Wrap the top of the wick around a pencil or something long and round to keep it steady.
  4. 4Once the wax mixture is clear, remove it from the heat.
  5. 5Add 30 to 40 drops of essential oils and mix well.
  6. 6Slowly fill your jar with the liquid wax.
  7. 7Decorate the top with herbs or dried flowers, adding some while the wax is hot and liquid for them to fall down, and others when it's halfway set to stay on top.
  8. 8Allow the candle to cure for about four to five hours.
  9. 9Cut the wick.
