Directions

  1. 1First add the castile soap to your pump bottle or mixing cup.
  2. 2Then add in the essential oils and the vegetable glycerine.
  3. 3Give this a good stir to combine the essential oils into the soap and the glycerine.
  4. 4Once combined, add in the rose hydrosol.
  5. 5Stir or shake to make sure all the ingredients are fully mixed.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 ounces Rose Hydrosol
  • 0.5 ounces Castile Soap
  • 0.25 tsp Vegetable Glycerine
  • 2 drops Lavender Essential Oil
  • 2 drops Sweet Orange Essential Oil
  • 2 drops Ylang Ylang Essential Oil

Tips

  • The addition of glycerine acts as a humectant (helps to moisturize) and softens the feel of the soap as it cleanses.
  • Rose hydrosol is nurturing and soothing for most skin.
  • This face wash is meant to be used within a month.
  • For oily skin, swap essential oils for 3 drops Lavender and 2 drops Tea Tree.
  • For mature skin, swap essential oils for 3 drops Frankincense and 3 drops Geranium.
  • For sensitive skin, swap essential oils for 3 drops Chamomile and 1 drop Lavender.
  • For super sensitive skin, leave out all essential oils.
