Pastel al Horno
Directions
- 1Make aceite de achiote with annatto seeds.
- 2Make the masa using a blender.
- 3Season the masa with aceite de achiote, caldo, adobo, and sazón.
- 4Spread an even layer of masa on the bottom of a baking dish.
- 5Top with the meat filling and add a layer of masa on top.
- 6Drizzle with caldo.
- 7Top with banana leaf.
- 8Bake to perfection.

- 5 green bananas
- 1 half pumpkin
- 2 yautía
- 1 pinch sal
- 1 spoon aceite de achiote
- 1 amount caldo
- 1 amount adobo
- 1 amount sazón
- 1 amount meat filling
- 2 banana leaf
